A 3D head from a photo, real-time hair
A module that turns the hair transplant consultation into a rotatable, measured, doctor-controlled visual experience. It aims to set expectations and explain the process — it is not a promise of results.

What happens in the consultation?
A 3D head from photos
No scanner or special device. The 468 face points of a single front photo are fitted to a licensed scanned head and the face texture is projected from the photo. An optional top photo updates crown openness in the model.
Real-time 3D hair
Tens of thousands of strands with darker roots, dual highlights and layer shadowing. Style, length, density (grafts/cm²) and scalp visibility change instantly; transplanted hair can be highlighted.
Doctor-controlled hairline
The hairline is drawn with control points that stick to the 3D surface; the temple transition is preserved. Hairline, mid-scalp, crown and donor zones are painted with a brush.
Zones, grafts and hair count
Each zone’s area is measured in cm² on the 3D surface; grafts follow from zone density and hair count from the 1–3-hair graft mix.
Donor area analysis
Shows the area of the occipital and temporal band, estimated graft density and the safe single-session limit; warns if the plan exceeds it.
Scenario comparison
Three scenarios rotate side by side on the same head — conservative, balanced and dense, each with its own hairline and graft count.
Patient education
How FUE, sapphire FUE and DHI work, and recovery at day 1 and months 1, 3, 6 and 12, explained briefly on the same 3D head.
Shared decision
Presentation mode for the clinic screen; in remote consultations doctor and patient see the same angle. The plan opens in the patient portal with the same 3D view.
Doctor approval
Every patient-side choice is illustrative. Only the doctor approves the preliminary plan; the approval stamp with name and date appears in the portal.
A shared decision in three steps
- 1
Photo
The patient uploads or takes a front photo, optionally adding side and top photos. Analysis runs on the device.
- 2
3D head and hair
The head is fitted to facial proportions, current hair comes from the photo and stage, and the chosen style is drawn with 3D strands.
- 3
Doctor’s plan
The doctor edits hairline and zones in the panel and approves; the patient explores the plan in the portal.
Can be added to your clinic software
This module is part of Briefikir’s hair clinic software: the website simulator, doctor workspace and patient portal share one engine. At setup, head model, brand colours, languages and the approval flow are tailored to the clinic.
Technical note
Runs in the browser with WebGL2 (Three.js); quality tier is chosen automatically per device (strand count, resolution). Face points are found on-device with MediaPipe; the photo is not uploaded. Head model: Lee Perry-Smith scanned head (CC BY 3.0); studio light: Poly Haven HDRI (CC0).
See it on your own photo
Choose a hairline and hairstyle, review an illustrative 12-month timeline and, if you wish, send it for a doctor’s review.
The information on this page is general and does not replace a medical consultation. The method, graft number and timeline suitable for you can only be determined after an examination. Simulations are illustrative and are not a promise of results.
